When we fall, we fall alone, but we rise and recover together through the works of the Holy Spirit. We need to pray for one another. We need each other. In a moment of crisis one open hand could be providential. With these thoughts in mind and the desire to keep the eyes of our hearts open to those who suffer , 24 members of Saint Paraskeva Charity participated in a spiritual retreat that took place at “Dormition of the Mother of God” monastery in Rives Junction, Michigan, between Dec. 9-11, 2011.
